Welcome to our Upcycling Workshop, where creativity meets sustainability! We believe in the power of upcycling to breathe new life into old garments and reduce fashion waste.
Our 3h (1:1 or group) workshop is designed to inspire and empower you to unleash your creativity while learning valuable upcycling techniques. During the workshop, you'll embark on a journey of discovery and will be guided through the process of transforming pre-loved clothing into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. From simple alterations to intricate redesigns, you'll learn how to repurpose materials, mix and match fabrics, and add personal touches to create fashion-forward garments that reflect your individual style.
Whether you're a seasoned seamstress or a complete beginner, our workshop is suitable for all skill levels. We provide a supportive and inclusive environment where you can learn, experiment and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for sustainable fashion. Be part of the movement towards a more eco-conscious and ethical fashion industry. Together, we can redefine the way we think about clothing and make a positive impact on the world, one stitch at a time.
Materials needed:
-Sewing machine (if available).
-Basic sewing kit.
-Garments to upcycle and notebook.

Taking measurements, get yourself a tape measure:
1 Bust: across the widest part of your chest
2 Waist: at the waist on top of the tape
3 Hips: across the widest part of your bottom
4 Bust depth: from the highest point on the shoulder (base of neck) to your bust point
5 Front waist length: From the highest point on the shoulder across the bust point to the lower edge of the tape at the waist
6 Back length: from the lowest neck vertebra (sticks out a bit) to the lower edge of the tape at the waist
7 Shoulder width: from the base of your neck to the shoulder point
8 Sleeve length: with your arm slightly bent, from the shoulder point across the elbow to your wrist
9 Upper arm circumference: around the widest part of your upper arm
10 Neck circumference: at the base of your neck
11 Height: from the top of your head to your foot sole
12 Skirt length: from the lower edge of the tape at the waist downward to the desired length
